HEARTS & FLOWERS ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hello Bloggers!

This is only my second post this week.  I've been around commenting a little but not posting!  I have just had so much to do this week and haven't been able to fit in any blogging time really!

Sam is on his travels up in Perth in Scotland where he is on a football tour until Monday.  He hasn't called but I wasn't expecting him to really.  Too busy having a good time I expect!

Anyway, I'm keeping with my theme of cards from the past and I have really enjoyed this trip down memory lane!  I think this will be the last card from the past for now anyway!

So here it is!  Hope you like it!

I made this card whilst I was working at the Papermill shop back in April 2006 as a display card for a demonstration I did there using the Shapeboss and stamping and embossing techniques!  If only Nesties had been around then - my oval would have been perfect!  LOL!

Supplies Used:-

All Cardstock - The Paper Mill Shop
Patterned Paper - From a Pad by All Night Media
Shapboss Embossing System
Rubber Stamp - All Night Media
Embossing Powder - Heat It Up
Dome Alphabet Stickers - Papermania
Metal Heart Embellishment - Papermania
Ribbon - From Stash!
Colouring Medium - Sakura Stardust Gel Pens
3d Foam Pads
Glitter
Heart Gemstone - Papermania

I would love to receive your comments!

Have a great weekend!

A BIRTHDAY CARD FOR MY MOTHER-IN-LAW 2006

I was thinking today! Should I show you a card that I've most recently made or should I go into my back catalogue as I have so many photos of cards that I have made and haven't seen the light of day for years.  So what I thought I would do is spend the next 5 days showing some cards that I've made in the past.

I made this card for my Mother-in-Law's birthday back in June 2006 - so only just after I made the last one I posted a couple of days ago.  Another card pre-Spellbinders, Promarkers, etc!

My MIL keeps all my cards that I've given her over the years.  They really mean a lot to her and I think she loves the fact that someone has spent the time making them for her.

I just want to thank everyone who has taken time to read my posts and leave comments on my blog.  They are very much appreciated and I have been absolutely delighted with the positivity shown towards my work!

I would love to receive your comments!

Supplies Used:

Ivory Pearlescent Card - The Paper Mill Shop
Vintage Ladies Stamps - Hero Arts
Inks - Pretty Color
Pearlescent Paper - Craftwork Cards
Skelton Leaves - Papermania
Corner Stamps - Not Sure of Brand
Handmade Paper
Purple Gemstones - Papermania
Ribbon - From Stash
3d Foam Pads
Gold Rub On Lettering - Not Sure of Brand

Looking Back, I think this is quite a technical card considering I was still a beginner.  There's lots of different techniques and details.  Personally I think its strong points are the colours used and the tag and the over stamping of the vintage ladies.

You can tell I used to teach for Adult Education, I'm even giving myself constructive feedback!

Hello Bloggers

Thanks for joining me I would love to receive your comments!

I was looking through my photographs deciding what to feature next and I came across a few photos of a Wedding Card and an 8" x 8" Memory Album that I made for Paul's (my partner) Cousin and her husband.  As it is almost 3 years to the date of their wedding I thought I would post these.
All of the patterned papers I used were from Creative Cardmaking Magazine  and I think they really helped me achieve the elegant professional end result I was hoping for!
