IRIS FOLDING HEART CARD AND PICTURES FROM SATSCRAP CROP

Hi Bloggers 

It's been so hot this week so I thought I'd take time out from the computer and start painting my kitchen instead.  I've got as far as finishing the ceiling!  OMW!  Wasn't I suffering from heat exhaustion!  It does look so much better though!

I have a picture of a card that I am going to give to my parents for their 39th anniversary tomorrow.  I made this card ages ago with the ACL class I was teaching at the time.  It features a hand cut aperture which is then filled with iris folding!


Supplies Used:-

Black Pearlescent Card - The Paper Mill Shop 
Heart Shaped Template - I used the large Sizzix Heart which I drew around and then cut out the aperture
Pearl Papers - Craftwork Card Blox
Patterned Paper - DCWV
Gingham (Yee Ha!)  Ribbon - The Craft Fairy

We had a fabulous 6 hour Scrapbooking crop arranged by Sharon at the lovely venue The Rest, Rest Bay, Porthcawl.

I got to do a demo, but at the moment I still haven't finished the layout I was doing so you'll have to wait for that.

    I still haven't tried iris folding and it looks fantastic in these stylish colours. I'm sure your parents will love it. Look forward to seeing your LO. Happy weekend!
