Hi Bloggers

Hope you are all well.  It's just started poring here and it's so dark.  I've had quite a quiet day today, ironing and visiting Paul's parents and sorting out orders taken in my Ebay shop over the weekend.  I'm really looking forward to this evening though with the return of Downton Abbey.

Today I am posting a card I made a while back but never sent so I'm going to send it to someone this Christmas.

Here it is - hope you like!  If you want a closer look just click on the picture.

Supplies Used:-

Foiled Snow Effect Card - Kanban

VARIATION ON TIM HOLTZ 12 TAGS OF CHRISTMAS 2007 TAG NUMBER 1

Hi Bloggers

I've always admired and have drawn inspiration from the one and only Tim Holtz.  I've always loved his ideas and tutorials for the 12 tags of Christmas and  I thought that one day I would like to have a go at them.  Yesterday was that day.

I got home from my 2nd SatScrap crop at The Rest Hotel in Porthcawl, where I had a great day it must be said, and decided to have a look at Tim's blog and start from the beginning - Well, that's a very good place to start don't you agree?  I took a look at his 12 Tags of Christmas from 2007 and decided to have a go at the 1st tag he gave a tutorial for.  I didn't have the stamps so had to do a variation on the design and this is what I came up with.

My Tag:-

Supplies Used:-

Kraft Luggage Label - I bought these from The Post Office, they're not Tim's
Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paints Picket Fence and Antiqued Bronze
Tim Holtz Blending Tool and Foam Pad
Tim Holtz Distress Ink:- Antique Linen, Festive Berries, Broken China, Black Soot
Tim Holtz Tonic Distressing Tool
Letter E - Papermania Chipboard Letters
Kanban Bling Black Adhesive Gemstones
Tim Holtz Muse Tokens
Tim Holtz Eiffel Tower Clear Stamp
Black Stranded Wool - From Stash

Tim's Tag:-

I love the effect of the crackle paint and how the inks have blended together forming new colours.

I can't wait to have a go at tag number 2.   I really enjoyed this little project!
